I have finally posted my first couple videos on my YouTube channel, and I am so pumped! Making content makes me so happy!! I don’t even care if no one ever sees this. I am just proud of my self for putting this content out there! To hear more about my videos, and get a sneak peek of what is to come.
The struggle:
In my first video, I talk about the struggles I was feeling at the time I decided to start filming my life, and how that fueled the creation of my channel.
In my second video, I talk about the realization of how nervous I felt about making videos and putting my life out into the world. This especially so when it comes to talking to my friends and family about creating this channel. My final realization was that all this risk was worth it to me.
Shortly after filming this, I encountered a new type of struggle. My laptop charging port broke as well as my laptop. I was so upset I almost decided to quit. Then I realized that this barrier was just there for me to prove to the universe how badly I wanted this. I went out of my way to make sure this got fixed, as soon as possible (which is out of character for me).
The future:
I am currently working on a video I am very proud of, which is about my PRIDE experience this year. I also talk about my views on the LGBT community and religion. It’s not the kind of content I want to surround my channel on, as I know its very controversial. I just felt like the message I have is an important one to share.
The next couple videos will be about some of the adventures Brice and I went on while we were on vacation a few weeks ago. After that, my plan is to try to talk more about my wellness journey. That is the name sake of my channel after all.
